Seeing an understandable and well written negative character arc always hits me. The 5 Kage summit had some of the most amazing setups in fights, espionage, and on the fly manuevering in the series and topped with the new anti villian taking out the old anti villain is the frosty topping and the cherry on top is the main characters setting up their philosophical ends of the spectrum for their final clash. It truly felt like a ninja arc.

5 Kage Summit is the most exciting Arc. Obito being Tobi then Madara is one of the coolest parts of the Naruto franchise. Obito never threw a punch but just his words made him the strongest baddie. His fight against Torune + Foo was nutz!

Pain arc is fire, of course. The Itachi/Sasuke arc basically lasts all of Naruto and Shippuden, and is the best written arc imo. But the war arc ties everything in so nicely, and has some really good writing as well. Like Mifune vs Hanzo. I’d really have to give it to the war arc for tying up the entirety of Naruto, bringing back all the characters we love, etc.
