Without world war 2, the world would be a better place. We are here now, instead of the 1930's to do what we can to prevent war.

Of course, the clergy are also human, as such also fallible. They don't want to lose their status by being agreeable to a prophetic revelation.

I believe this is right. Not promoting things because they may make someone scoff is also very wrong. Help the Holy Spirit to spread God's words His mother gave to us and gave proof she was for real, or pay with the rest of the world, the horrid price of not herding the warnings.

If the consecration of Fatima had been accomplished, Vatican II wouldn't have occurred. Vocations wouldn't have collapsed other problems wouldn't have erupted. Sadly much of humanity will ignore God's individual requests revealed during the Warning. So the question arises, how many more would have heeded the Warning had Fatima been consecrated?

Still not buying medjudorje. Or divine mercy. Given the post VII process for canonization and for approval/disapproval, I view everything post VII with suspicion. The people running Rome today would throw out Fatima if it advanced the Jimmy Marin agenda.

Armor of God: Spiritual Warfare
Fr. Joseph Iannuzzi: "I don't like the word that Melchor Cano (16th century Spanish Scholastic theologian) gave to them - Private revelations.
It's a bad word. And even Cardinal Joseph Ratzinger agrees. There's a thesis that was published by the Gregorian Pontifical University, prefaced by Cardinal Joseph Ratzinger when he was prefect at the time of the Congregation for the Doctrine of the Faith,
in which he states that the concepts public and private do not do justice to the nature of proposed biblical prophetic revelations.
Because when you use the word private, it means that only for you, it's okay, but I don't need it. If God gives a word, it's good for everybody. Don't you think?
So that's why this Spanish Dominican theologian, Melchor Cano, was criticized by Cardinal Ratziger in his use of these expressions, private and public.
Well, the Church takes time to come around to these things and appreciate the importance of prophetic revelation. It does not do that today, I would say well over 90... I would venture to say almost 95% of the clergy do not give any importance to prophetic revelation. Post biblical. They don't.
And this is sad, because to God it matters. He's frustrated, oftentimes with importance not being given to these messages that come after the revelation of Christ.
Take, for example, Fatima. Our Lady asked the three shepherd children to have the Pope consecrate Russia. They did not do it...because the Church doesn't give importance to these things.
And you know what happened when the church did not give importance to this? Millions of souls died. Our Lady said, if you consecrate Russia according to my desires, there will be no Second World War.
But because the church did not heed her request, millions of souls died in the Second World World War. Imagine that... because the church did not listen to God's private prophetic revelations through Mary. That's how important they are."
