Hoy me gustaría hablar de algo serio para variar. Algunos quizá lo sepáis, algunos quizá no, pero el pasado 29 de octubre una DANA (una tormenta gigante) azotó el este de España, en particular Valencia. La gente del lugar no fue advertida debidamente, y muchos fueron a trabajar o estudiar como si fuera un día más. El resultado es que ha habido cientos de muertes, casi 2000 personas siguen desaparecidas y los daños materiales son enormes; no hay más que agua, escombros y barro por todos lados, y muchísimos coches destrozados vayas donde vayas. Afortunadamente la gente se ha volcado y miles de personas voluntarias acuden cada día a las zonas más afectadas a ayudar a retirar el agua y el barro y a llevar agua y provisiones a los afectados, pero todavía queda mucho, muchísimo para que la normalidad regrese. Así que desde aquí me gustaría pedir, por favor, que todo aquel que quiera poner su granito de arena lo haga como pueda.
Podéis hacer donativos a la Cruz Roja, se puede donar lo que quieras a partir de 1€ y se acepta desde cualquier parte del mundo (www2.cruzroja.es/-/ayuda-emergencia-dana-2024). También hay un movimiento en Twitter con el hastag #ArtistsForValencia, donde muchos artistas aceptan comisiones a cambio de donativos que irán destinados a ayudar a Valencia. Si sois de España, también se puede hacer donativos mediante Bizum, en este hilo podéis ver las varias ONGs y cómo donar (x.com/Bizum_ES/status/1851593137036099958), y cualquier cosa que podáis aportar en un punto de recogida; comida, bebida, ropa, productos sanitarios, medicamentos... Today I'd like to talk about something serious. Some of you may already know, but on October 29th a DANA (a huge storm) hit the east of Spain, Valencia to be precise. We weren't really warned about its importance, and many people went to their jobs or school as if it was a regular day. Due to that, hundreds of people lost their lives, around 2000 people are still missing and the material damages are huge; the streets are flooded and full of mud, there's debris everywhere and everywhere you go there's destroyed cars. Thankfully there's thousands of volunteers that come everyday to the most affected places and offer their help, as well as water and food. But there's still a long, long way until things can go back to normal. So please, if you can help in any possible way, I'd be really thankful.

There's also a movement on Twitter right now with the hastag #ArtistsForValencia.
