South Point Survival

I wanted those of you who are watching the hike videos know there are lessons here. It's not just to show you these awesome locations but to teach you a little about what I typically do behind the scenes.

-Carry your packs and get used to the weight. ( is it too heavy for you )

-Do you have the gear you need or are you missing items( flashlight, food, water, filters, toilet paper, meds, etc )

-Do you know how to use the gear you have in your pack ( water filters, Fire steel, etc )

-Can you navigate in a low stress environment ( reading maps, compass, trail heads, animal tracks, animal smells )

-Foraging for food and safely identifying plants ( something I'm not the best at doing but I practice by taking pictures and doing research )

There is a lot to show in these videos but I want to show it as if we are just going on a walk together.
