My son (the first time he was allowed to vote in a federal election) and I voted today for change with a blue pen. We were happy to vote for a change in government. I am first time conservative voter.

I’m an Albertan who happened to be in Nova Scotia during the last election. It was very disheartening to say the least. I was lectured by a local who complained that Alberta doesn’t even have a sales tax!🤷♀️ I wanted to say that in spite of that, Alberta still sends millions of dollars to Nova Scotia every year in the form of equalization payments, without which Nova Scotia would not be able to function as it does. 😝……. I’ve probably lost life long friendships over this election which is unfortunate but I’m going to stand my ground and share the truth. Dear heart; and I legitimately get to call you that because I have three children older than you, you are a hero and an ideal for Canadians. The fact that you’ve done all of what you have alone is an off the scale testament to your intellect and personal tenacity and ingenuity. You have far more than delivered for any Canadian with their head screwed on straighter than allowed by the boughten media. Some BIG News for you!
1) I will not have a new upload today. I was trying to get one done... but it is sunny in the prairies for the first time in days, and I need to place my early vote and soak up the sun in the hour long line up, then we are going to our friends for dinner and to watch the hockey game. I will upload one tomorrow before heading to the airport.
2) Won't have a new upload on Monday... but trust me... the one I have coming as soon as I get back home will be VERY worth the wait ;)
3) On top of my last minute trip I'm taking from the 20th-22nd, I will also be flying to Nova Scotia from the 26th-29th as I join an election night live stream in person!
4) Regardless of who wins... I hope you don't forget about me post-election! I will still be here keeping you up to date on all the details legacy media likes to avoid or call "fake news" and can't wait to chat with you more once we know what direction the next 4 years of our lives is heading!
5) I feel guilty and stressed about not filming for you today, when there is so much to cover! But I am trying to show myself some grace and not be such a work-a-holic, even though it pains me to do so.
