You’ve seen it all over the internet and are dying to try it. How long would wait in line for food?

Depends on a few things. If I’m on vacation, an hour at most. Also depends on the food and how well renown the place is.

Before the pandemic, I would wait in line. Now, I dedicate my time in the kitchen, learning how to prepare the dishes I once stood in line for. Thank you, pandemic, for giving me a three-year in-home culinary class at no cost and with no tips required.

I remember waiting in line for over an hour when Sizzler first opened wasn't that bad. Neither was the quality back then either.

I have never eaten at Chick-fil-A. I'm not waiting 45 minutes for a chicken sandwich. Long live Popeyes!

I know in the US it's different but I wouldn't wait more than 30mins. Nothing is worth it to wait in line for personally. Just like how people wait in line for the new iPhone/game/ limited items/black friday etc..

I live in NYC, so it’s a completely different experience. Once in a long while, and the place is worth it, it can be a good time. Outside on a nice morning at a busy bakery, socializing with friends and strangers, it can be like little break from the city. I can see how people in the suburbs who only drive from one fast food drive thru to another would think it’s weird, though.

It totally depends on the restaurant if it's one I really really like or one I'm looking forward to trying I will wait at max 30 min. However if it's for anything else I'm prob not waiting. I mostly get my food to go anyway and order ahead like 99% of the time though

If it something unique that you only get try like one time in your life I would wait multiple hours however if it is something that is just trendy and popular at the time I'm only waiting 30 minutes max otherwise I would just wait for another time to try it.

@iFoneVids

I’m not waiting for a hype. But I guess it depends on the situation and the food.

When we go to a restaurant and there's a waiting list , I'm leaving and going to another one.

Yeah, it really does depend, but thirty minutes is my limit. It makes me feel kind of silly to wait in line just for a restaurant. And ever since high-end fashion boutiques started making people wait in line, I absolutely refused to shop in any capacity besides online if it’s something I really wanted or in person at niche men’s stores where nonsense stuff like that doesn’t happen. Now that’s just insulting.

I’d rather try cooking the recipe at home myself, but if it’s a new place I’d probably wait an hour but wouldn’t be happy about it
