Saddened to hear about the passing of Steve “The Colonel” Cropper. From hearing Green Onions by Booker T & The MGs as a kid to copping his timeless licks on records with Otis Redding, Sam & Dave and of course The Blues Brothers, this man played a huge role in my musical education and striving to be a better guitar player. I had the honor to see him play with Jonny Rosch and go out to dinner with him. He was a kind funny man with many great stories and even at his old age, he could play a mean guitar. RIP Steve and thank you for all the incredible music!
