Just an update on my commissions since I had some issues with one of my payment methods recently. I’ve had some issues with data leaks on PayPal leading to activity from hackers on my PayPal account, and because of it I’m hesitant to continue using it. Thankfully I haven’t lost anything (I almost did, but after a case repeal PayPal closed the case in my favor and returned the funds since I wasn’t the one who withdrew it). For now I’ll continue to keep commissions open, but I’m going to only use Venmo for a while. I may eventually use PayPal again, but I’ll need to be sure that it’s safe and secure enough before I do that.
This will also affect the commission deals I had planned both for this Halloween season and for the winter holidays. Commissions will still be 50% all October, but I won’t be doing YCHs or adopts like I’d originally planned since I doubt there’d be enough interest now that I’m not accepting PayPal.
Other than that, not much will change, just payment methods and some YCH plans I had. I do still have some sketches for YCHs, though, so I may wind up raffling those off if I get the motivation to finish them. We’ll see.
