As of posting this, It's been exactly one year since I decided to fully switch to make CaseOh shorts. Now I don't really want to bring up to many things I already said in my 100k post, so if you care and haven't read it yet, you can read it here: www.youtube.com/channel/UCjX_... but anyways, I'm writing this to say Thank you. Thank you all SO MUCH for what we've accomplished in a year on this channel. I genuinely never expected to get this far with this type of content.. When I uploaded that short a year ago, we were at 7,414 Subscribers and I didn't expect that this short would pick up in views so quick, so I decided to just keep going with CaseOh shorts as I got tired of Minecraft shorts and because CaseOh worked for my friend aswell and he was at 80k at this time, so I gave it a shot as I really wanted to reach 100k Subscribers. My Original plan was to stop uploading once I reached 100k, but the support from you all was so overwhelming and amazing, that I would feel bad to just quit for that reason, so I still kept going to this day. I was fully aware that this type of content would obviously not work forever and I was pretty much prepared for that and by looking at the analytics today, it shows me the lack of interest aswell. People seem to get tired of CaseOh ranking food ect. because Let's be honest, it's just the same thing and I am not the only channel who uploads these type of shorts, there a few more so we're sort of competing with each other which can result in people already having seen the clips I uploaded on other channels before. But that is fine for me. After hitting 100k I went from 2 uploads to 1 and shortly after I uploaded one short every 4 Days and I am still doing that to this Day simply because I just got tired of the consistent editing. If I cared I could be at likey 350k+ Subs already If I kept the daily uploads, but at the end of the Day it's just numbers and it didn't made me happy to keep editing all Day long. Sure, things like the play button and being verified is a nice to have, but you just forget about these things a Couple Hours later and these Days it's really nothing special anymore, especially if you didn't grow your channel with your own content which is pretty much a common thing among YouTube these days because you can grow your channel so easily with shorts if you have the right niche and know what you are doing. As for CaseOh content, I still have a few Clips left to upload (which are already over a year old..) and technically I could record some more which I am still debating If I will or not, but after that I might stop making CaseOh content completely because editing just feel like a chore these days and the Views have been going down a lot since the start of the year which shows me that people have lost interest in this type of content which again, I do understand it and it was never my plan to sustain this type of content forever anyways. I will probably make another post once I announce the End of this "Era" and after that, I might do shorts about Minecraft again or other things that genuinely interest me if I have time and feel like uploading. I know that this will kill the channel completely, but that's a common thing with pure shorts creators and compared to most of them, we "survived" for a long time which I never expected and I will always appreciate you Guys for that. At the End of the Day you should have fun with what you're doing and for me making Videos was always just a Hobby, not an actual Job.
Anyways, that was lots of yap. I genuinely apologize if you're a fan of my CaseOh shorts and are now disappointed in these News, but unfortunately, Nothings lasts forever and I really don't wanna keep doing this for that much Longer, so I hope you Understand.
