We had one attached to us in Afghanistan. He asked for so much ord that they removed him after 4-5 months and shortly after our Batt fires dropped a 500lbr on our own OP. Nobody died but the video has been in circulation for 10 years.

Because I have listened to JT, Andy Stumpf and a few others. This has to be hands down the best documentary I have ever seen on them. Hats off to the craft, BRCC and especially to JT and Jack Mandiville.

@HalfUnder

As the son of a retired USAF fighter pilot and hog driver, you're damn right I do. Plus that one TACP that used to love gas station hot dogs, got to hang out with him once.

I worked at an Air National Guard unit that supported a TACP unit. Those guys were always deployed, usually 6 months or more. Great bunch of guys.

Had them running with us in Afghanistan. One of the capabilities they have that I think gets overlooked is how well they can provide realtime imagery intel to the ground forces. At least on my conventional side, they were the ones with the livefeed.

My grandpa was in the Air Force during the Korean War. He never mentioned it only found out after he passed. He never liked the smell of BBQ. 😂😂😢🇺🇲

My formative years as an intel guy were all spent with ROMADs, from Camp Red Cloud to USAFAGOS to Ft Hood, all in the early to late 90s. Ah, the good old days. And they formalized the non-rated ALO concept just as I was retiring, otherwise I'd have done that.
