I can't even imagine the number of disgusting comments Kat must have received in the last two+ years. If a woman is pleasant to look at, she gets sick, creepy, sexual harassment and if you don't happen to think she's pleasant to look at then she'll get berated for not fitting a person's beauty ideals and told in great detail how worthless she is as a woman and human being. I honestly can't even comprehend the guts it takes for any woman to put herself out there by making content in this world, but we need more women like Kat, Julianna, Sarah over at the Bulwark, Alison and Dana with MSW, JoJo, and Jessica Denson. I just wish I lived in IL9 so I could vote for Kat for Congress. 🤘🤘🕊

My campaign hosted a pay-what-you-want comedy show this month. What does that mean? Unlike a lot of campaign fundraisers, anyone can attend, regardless of their income. And best of all, it was a really fun night, whether you spent $500 or $50 for a ticket.

It's horrifying and funny at the same time, but what I really wanted to underscore is how so many Democrats underestimate the right. We need leaders who understand how the far-right functions. And I do. I've spent years covering, explaining, and fighting far-right narratives spread by guys like Flynn. I've stuck by my values and I'm doing that with my campaign as well.
