I have waited to post anything, because I wanted to take some time to pray for the man, his family and our country, collect my thoughts, and gauge others' reactions, before offering my own perspective.
For those who don't know (which is probably most everyone here) I actually had a personal connection to Charlie Kirk in that my own security company (and I personally worked the detail as well) augmented his security team for one of his rallies with RFK in Scottsdale last year (the picture posted here was taken at that event). I’ve also known some of the guys that have worked directly on his security detail in the past, and they have always spoken very highly of the man. And trust me, as a bodyguard, you get to really know the people you protect.
Many have already well discussed this significance of this tragic event and have tried to make sense of it. What I would like to do this evening in my livestream is explore what it means for all of us moving forward, because if any good has already come out of this, it is that many eyes have been opened to forces and movements they may have been in the dark about until now.
I debated whether or not I should even say anything at all, but I haven't seen anyone else yet say what I think needs to be said, so I am going to do it. Lest anyone think I am trying to profit off of this tragedy, please understand that my channel isn't even monetized yet. I don't make any money off of anything I post.
