You mentioned therapists might not want to work with people who tend to be on the obsessive side, is this why people with BPD tend to find it difficult to find a clinician to work with? I’ve heard it said that clinicians avoid bpders because of the level of difficulty involved, but to me, it makes far more sense if they were simply avoiding all of this (transference/love/obsession)!!

Why do you think so many people, especially on social media, tend to pathologize what may be normal human behavior? Is that what's happening with the concept of limerence, or is it just a descriptive term that has become more popular because of social media?

How does limerance benefit someone with depression or in burnout of undiagnosed autism or adhd? Especially if in a codependent romantic relationship? This is when I experienced it.

Link won’t work for me on my phone - would love to hear where it fits in attachment wise and the parent child patterns (I.e neglect?) that lead to it.
