No. Idc for any new Marvel games tbh. Spiderman 2018 was the last one that was enjoyable. Everything after has been forgettable at best (that's me being generous about it). Rivals will be no different from Avengers, Miles Morales, Insomniac Spiderman 2 and GOTG 2021. Stick with Spiderman 2000 & EE, Sam Raimi Spiderman 1 & 2, Ultimate Spiderman, Hulk Ultimate Destruction, Punisher, X Men Legends 1 & 2, the classic Marvel vs Capcoms, Marvel Ultimate Alliance, Ghost Rider, Iron Man on PS2/Wii (made before the Disney purchase, FYI), Spiderman Web of Shadows, X Men Origins Wolverine (same deal as Iron Man). Spiderman 3 on 360/PC/PS3, X Men TOG, Hulk 2003 and Spiderman Friend or Foe are average, but still worth checking out If you do want to risk getting something released after 2009, I'd say Captain America First Avenger, Shattered Dimensions & Edge of Time, and GOTG Telltale are the only ones I'd recommend. I also remember Avengers Alliance on Facebook being fun back in 2012-2014 but servers are probably down, and if they're still up they probably have Disney Marvel BS in them.

It sounds like you want to get the game but are afraid it will be acceptable

I’d say no. Marvel Rivals is owned by Disney and China. Even if you are strictly playing for free, it’s not worth it. I’d recommend playing a better game instead. Such as Marvel Ultimate Alliance, or any of Activision’s Spider-Man games.

Brandon the Awesome
Hey everyone, I have an important question that I need to ask:
Should I get Marvel Rivals?
I hear a lot of good things about that game, and the artstyle has kinda grown on me. But at the same time, I don't want to end up liking something that will end up making me a fake Marvel fan, since unlike so many others I pride myself on being a loyal fan.
So, I leave it up to you, my audience of intellectuals. Should I get the game?
