I know I shouldn’t care this much about random people saying stuff like this, but this is such a horrible thing to say about someone?! Especially someone who was a victim of grooming and abuse at a young age. The last thing I would ever want is for anyone else to feel the way I feel and have to go through those horrors. I feel like I’m so deeply misunderstood by people and I wish people just talked to me before saying stuff like this. It’s deeply hurtful. I’m not saying you can’t criticize me for the dumb tweets I made when I was younger, but this isn’t ok.
You - and I CANNOT stress this enough - DO NOT KNOW ME!! You can’t just say things like this about people, and it honestly disgusts and horrifies me that anyone would even think that about me. I know I have a problem seeking validation online, but any of friends would tell you that I act differently off camera, in the sense that I’m literally just normal. Twitter is extremely unhealthy for me, but I pretty much use it let all of that negative energy out. I don’t fully understand why this is the case, and I’m going to therapy to try to understand myself better, but me “acting up” for the camera is something I’ve heard from multiple different people. Litterally everyone who gets close to me tells me I’m not the person Twitter told them I was. I’ll always be there to support the people that are in my life whenever they need me, and my friends can back me up on this.
Moral of the story? Please don’t make these weird and bizarre assumptions about people you don’t know.
