Ari Aster is very good at making films that are uncomfortable to watch. I'm looking forward to it. Edit: I also kinda really want that poster.

That very image is the cover art for a U2 single, a great now almost classic song, called "One", released back in 1992 as a single

Loved the 3 Ari Aster films I've seen so far. Looking forward to this.

There is a shot in the trailer where the camera is locked off on the constantly recording sheriff's hand holding a recording phone as he fires a gun in another hand. That is the precise kind of absurd humor Ari is able to sneak into his films. If you like dark absurd humor his uncomfortable anxiety filmmaking does have some levity to it. Beau is Afraid had some laugh out loud moments within the crazy world that films built.

This just reminded me about Beau is Afraid and how a lot of people hated it...I loved it though. I'm intrigued for this one.

Hereditary is pretty weird but once you keep going through his filmography, it gets even crazier

Eddington, a haywire dive into the panic attack insanity of 2020, is going to be divisive for sure. I have mixed feelings, but think Ari Aster captures the feeling of recent social media fueled lunacy better than anything else I've seen.
