Thank you for your honesty. I am left handed and I learned mirroring my right hand mother. Sometimes I loop over when I should loop under but it makes a special piece. Keep up the great work. Ps I still learn from your right hand videos ❤

Em, you've tried to make a difference and get lefties knitting. My mother-in-law was left handed and knitted. I can't remember if i taught her the basics or not but her stocking stitch was twisted..... and her left fronts right and vice versa when following patterns but she still made successful jumpers and cardigans. I would never have thought mirrored tutorials would result in twisted stitches... how strange.

I have a friend who’s a fabulous knitter, and she’s left-handed. Would you like for me to get her to make a video of her knitting and you just mimic it?

Hello everyone,
I’ve decided to remove all left handed knitting tutorials from my channel, as I discovered they were incorrect. Don’t worry, all left handed crochet tutorials will stay up!
For left handed tutorials, I usually mirror my footage in editing. This works fine for crochet, but unfortunately not for knitting because the stitches end up twisted. Because of that, I’ve chosen to take those videos down.
I’ll try to learn left handed knitting so I can teach it accurately in the future, but since I’m not ambidextrous, it might take some time or may not be something I can do.
I’m truly sorry if these videos caused any confusion or frustration. I always aim to make my tutorials as clear and high quality as possible, so I’m really disappointed to have missed the mark here.
Thank you for understanding,
Em
