Yesterday, Drs. Fred and Nelson visited the mountain gorillas of Busingye group in Bwindi Impenetrable National Park, Uganda for a routine health check. Among the 17 members of the group, our veterinarians observed that adult females Kashayu and Bukana's physical appearance and activity levels have improved since their last health check.
A couple other members of the group appear to have some hair loss on their shoulders. Teams will continue to closely monitor the group in case any veterinary intervention is needed.
