HUECYCLES

IMPORTANT, PLEASE READ!

i have also left the DR community for pretty much the same reasoning listed here.

i would like to move on creatively and only making deltarune stuff, for years, to a point where it's the only thing people *expect* out of me is... tiring to to say the least, and frustrating.

i am very grateful for the wonderful time i've spent making fanart and working on ASTRAL DISC/Candleholder (even with its ups and downs) as well as the friends i've made, but i think by now it's time to let go and work towards my own personal journey as an artist.

i know not everyone will be happy about this decision (plenty were just here for the fanart lol) but i still have lots of ideas to share with the world, so maybe i'll see some of you there still, who knows

that's all really, i just wanted to inform you guys here properly
again, thanks for all the support!

@sophireal

even if my knowledge of this project was short-lived, it seemed like a genuinely passionate and high quality reimagining of deltarune—your interpretation of Dess especially touching me in a way I havent felt since OG Undertale , so for what little its worth, thank you for creating Astral Disc, and I wholeheartedly wish you the best moving forward

As sad as I am about this decision, I totally understand the reasons behind it and I'm glad yall were able to move on to new projects and interests. I loved all the art and music you made for Deltarune and I'll definitely stick around for whatever you'll do next. Wish yall good luck with your future projects and I hope you'll have fun making them!!

@MasterSquirrel993

Missed this post, but just wanted to say, this is perfectly understandable. Following Astral Disc and learning about its characters was a blast, thank you and all of the team for years of an awesome AU. And speaking personally, I definitely won't be unsubscribing--I'm very excited for what you've got cooking for your original projects ^_^

Fuuuuck man....this feels like the end of an era. Id be lying if I said this didn't hurt a lot but I think if that's what you want then it's for the best. I've liked your art and music for so long that im definitely gonna stick around for whatever comes next. I'm was looking forward to this for so long and I am so disappointed that I got canned but im happy you took the time to realize you wanted something different. Thank you for your time in the deltarune community💕

The burnout and the problems with the fandom are so real, ive been avoiding social media a lot recently because the release of the new chapters has just made the fandom kinda unbearable even though I used to love it so much before. I still love your non deltarune related art and I’m really excited to see what you do with lightsplit. Gonna miss this project a lot but I’m looking forward to seeing what you do in the future

That's a shame, I really enjoyed your Deltarune content and was looking forward to your candle holder content. However, I understand, things happen and tastes can change. I cannot imagine how exhausting and hard it would have been to sink so many hours into a project. I wish you the best in future projects and I'll stick around to see what you do next instead!

@Dekubud

As much as I am still fully obsessed with Deltarune, I'm honestly more excited to look forward to you original projects and see your creative capabilities extend to their full potential.

@kaijucowbelle

These large projects are an insane scope to hold yourself too, I for one am just happy y'all allowed yourselves to let go!!! Am curious if we'll ever get a peak into what exists for it one day, but that's up to the team, wishing you all the best :]

Would you be up for mentioning a couple ways the DR community's toxicity came up for you? I've been noticing it too and just wanted to check in with others about how it's going for them. Also, congrats on your new chapter of life as an artist!

I respect your decisions fully, sometimes creating fanart for a toxic community can be too much, Im excited to see your following works regardless, keep up the amazing work ^^
