My Experience with Bunker Zulu and Customer Support

Hey guys, probably some of you watched the video where I showed how I lost the Zulu Card because of the maintenance starting earlier. I didint have time to post an update so let me say it here:

So, I geared up for a second Big One attempt in Limestone Spires and ran into some raiders fighting other people. I decided to put a landmine on their path and walked away, staying at a distance. Suddenly, I died without any clear reason. Later, I found out that it was because of the landmine, even though I wasn't in its range. I reached out to support about the maintenance start and the landmine issue, but it took a few days to get a response.

When support finally replied, they suggested that I should exit the game at least 15 minutes before maintenance since it can sometimes start early. They offered to reroll my progress but mentioned that I wouldn’t encounter the same enemies, meaning I wouldn’t be able to loot The Big One's body again. Since that wasn’t helpful for me, I declined.

I also mentioned the landmine bug and asked if there was another way to get the Zulu card. Unfortunately, they didn’t address the bug and instead repeated the advice about exiting early. They also mentioned that the main way to obtain the CAC card for Bunker Zulu is by killing The Big One, though they advised me to avoid him. They then closed the chat.

I left a 1-star review because it took them days to respond and I felt like they didn’t fully address my concerns. I was disappointed that they didn’t seem to take the time to consider the screenshots of the loot I lost. I’d hoped for some kind of compensation, especially after losing significant time and resources.

I’m still frustrated by how the situation was handled, and I felt like sharing my experience. I didn't expect this from a relatively well-known game development studio.

I'm speaking different than usual because I don't want it to seem like defamation for them, I'm just frustrated because of how little help I got from the support.
