🔥 LIFE’S HIDDEN RULES THEY DON’T TEACH YOU 🔥

💀 1. Life isn’t fair—use it to win. Losers complain. Winners adapt.

👀 2. Perception > Reality. If you don’t look, sound, and act like you belong at the top, you’ll never get there.

🤝 3. Who you know > What you know. Talent alone won’t open doors. The right network will.

🧠 4. Emotions run the world. People act on feelings, not facts. Control emotions, and you control outcomes.

🚨 5. No one is coming to save you. No lucky break. No mentor. No handouts. It’s all on you.

📈 6. Your habits = your future. Your daily actions predict where you end up.

⚡ 7. Adapt or die. The world moves fast. Keep up or get left behind.

Most people ignore these rules. That’s why they lose. You won’t.

Took me many years to learn rule 3. If you want success in life, don’t burn any bridges, even ones that seem unimportant. Contacts = contracts.

"What does it profit a man to gain the whole world and lose his soul?" Some of this advice will lead to the loss of your soul, so first assess what "winning" is to you. For the classical philosophers, it's to live a life of honor and virtue. So I would say it entails not succumbing to nihilism and Machiavellianism, which are the sources of some of this advice. Material prosperity doesn't matter past having the necessities of life, maybe a handful of luxuries, and the ability to pay your bills. The respect of your peers is fleeting, and other people's criticisms often arise from ignorance and jealousy. Sift the constructive criticism from which you can learn something, from the rubbish which you should ignore. There's a lot more to flesh out, but I recommend two things: 1.) Develop a good bullshit detector. Analyze situations from the top down before getting bogged down in a morass of insignificant details. The correct approach to a problem usually entails the big picture; get that wrong, and all the details in the world won't matter. 2.) Learn symbolic logic. The algebraic approach is clearer than the unavoidable ambiguities of natural language arguments. Logic gives you predictive powers, because the logical consequences of a situation will play themselves out over time; it's just a question of how long it will take. ("The truth will out.") If you're working for a firm which you can predict is on the wrong path, you can analyze alternatives and suggest a remedy. If they refuse to listen, decide how much more effort you want to put into what is likely a futile situation. Walk away and let them fail if you've passed that limit. The fundamental choice you face is whether to live according to principle or expediency. The latter may be successful in the short term, but it won't last.

I wish my parents told me this 20 years ago. I am very ill, but not dead yet. I will give it my all. Thank you!

You can adapt while still thinking life isn't fair.

Kinda need to hear this out everyday. I blame my life for all the shit I am stuck in right now. By now I’ve accepted life is not gonna be fair. I don’t have a supportive peer group nor do I have a mentor. Not one person who believes in my ambition. Not even me sometimes. But I’ll make it happen. I accept I’ve wasted countless hours. Also, that I will waste more priceless hours. That’s just how I cope or else I’ll break. I don’t want that. I don’t want to be hard on myself cause life has been hard enough on me. At least I’ll try to cherish some good stuff I had. Those few memories and people get me going through this mess. My find is fucked up and I’m in a mess. I know it’s gonna be hard to focus like this. But at least I’ll try- a little - everyday.

tl;dr : you could do anything, but why not worship hell and become the problem?

I would add: the path will always have stones. Some you can destroy, others you just avoid and save energy and time.

Well, from my current habits, I can say that I'll probably end up at grave :D. But seriously, I don't think I'll succeed despite knowing these rules, I'm fully aware despite not implementing, which means, I'm not going anywhere, but somewhere in the bottom. And many people struggle with that too. I wonder why

@imenocha

I wonder, can we all win though ? Like isn't normal to have at least a period of being losers ? Can we all win at the same time ? I do no think so, especially in this day and age, losing is easier than winning which is why so many of us tend to be losers. Also, losers complaining may be deeper than not having success; a mental health issue like fear, trauma that blocks us from even trying from even starting.
