As someone who's spent most of their adult life in Japan, what are your feelings about raising kids in a different country and culture from where you grew up?

I've always wanted to know, what's the bug/insect/arachnid/animal situation in Japan like? Do you find yourself fending off giant spiders, killer wasps, mosquitos or grizzly bears often? Let's just say I have a morbid fear of anything creepy crawly :)

In your car video you said that you drive your kids (plus maybe some of their classmates) to school. Is Beppu so large and/or public transport so sparse that cycling to school or taking a train or bus, either the kids by themselves or with you, is not feasible?

What do you say about going to university and/or getting higher education in Japan as foreigners? Do you get better job opportunities if you studied there? What are the benefits and drawbacks of studying there?

Since you helped with the No\Name, what is one thing you could say that storytellers, whether that be in manga or writing a novel could learn from your experience?

I feel like all of the YouTubers I see move to Japan do it in their early to mid twenties but I’ll most likely not be ready until I’m 30. Do you think that’s too late for such a big change? How did you feel ready to move?

I recently learned that most medications aren't allowed in Japan. How can I get my medicine? Or do I have to forego being medicated while I am there (for approximately a month)?
