Stuff like this is interesting, bc it serves as proof that things change for the worse when the presence of dogs is expanded, and normalized. Thanks so much for this personal account by ‪@jorgefortes6674‬:

“Back in the 80's a pet shop suddenly appeared on the street where I lived. Shortly after the effects were clear. Dogs barking on verandas, dog waste between the parked cars and the remaining stuff we all know of. Until then there were very few dogs on the street and most of them lived on the backyards of buildings, not at home.”

MY PERSONAL NOTE:

Even just ONE dog introduced to a previously dog-free area can significantly reduce the quality of life there, but it's obvious that the more dogs there are in general, the worse their effects will be. It's worse still when their worlds collide with ours; when we're forced to come into regular contact with them and experience their many far-reaching detrimental impacts, which then become inescapable.
