I feel under siege. If I stay in the house I am prey to the 24 hour rolling news. It only comes to me via the radio and internet now so it is controllable but even so it is so bad you feel that you are under siege, Brexit,Covid,Genocide,War
If you go out among the Christmasy throng you are laid siege to by Capitalism. The jingles on a loop, the bright shiny ✨ objects silently screaming for you to buy them as gifts 🎁
Who is/are benefiting from a society that is run like this one?
