Charge Ti with an s30v blade I’d rather a magnacut blade but other than the at o like the charge Ti.

Aesthetically the wave alpha but the charge g10 was a banger. Love my orange still. I have been pinched by it and I heard the alpha fixed that though.

I think the Alpha is long overdue for finally being produced, the market has been there for years. However, the Charge should not have been discontinued. If leatherman produced the wave with the charge frame, they would sell like crazy. The Charge frame is stronger (the screws don't unthread with use like the wave), the ergonomics are much better, and the scales (steel or titanium) allow to work surprisingly well as a hammer. If you have a charge, trying hammering a nail, striking the head with the scale sides.

Leatherman should have continued the Charge Plus with additional improvements / modifications.

I've had the G10 Charge+ for a long time and it's my favorite multi-tool. When my Alpha arrived... it was lighter, more ergonomic, and incorporated a superior Magnacut blade. Imo it overtakes the Charge but not at that pricepoint.

Charge g10 has the crappy scissors, no magnacut blade and no thumb stud (s30v tho), also with alpha you gain the awl, also I think the g10 on the alpha is thicker. The charge g10 keeps the serrated knife with the gut hook though. Imo alpha is better
