The veil has been lifted. Evil people are everywhere and they’re not hiding.

Murdering someone is evil. Knowingly profiting off of people who are suffering is evil. There is no good guy in this story.

I don't pretend to know anything about the guy and I feel bad for his family. It's unfortunate that it came to this. But I hope that his death is a wakeup call to all insurance companies that people are done having their suffering ignored.

I've been so saddened to see the celebration of his death, even/especially in Christian spaces. We might expect such a reaction from the world who doesn't know Christ, hates His ways, and are slaves to sin. But I don't understand how those of us who believe God made ALL humans in His image can celebrate when one of His image-bearers is murdered. I do understand and agree that the healthcare industry is corrupt and responsible for the deaths of many people, and I do want to see change, but certainly this is not the Christ-like way. Using evil to fight evil is wrong, whether the killing of this CEO or abortion of a baby conceived through rape or incest.

I can't believe people are buying the story he was just some guy angry at his health insurance company and that he traveled with fake IDs and a silencer and with confidence shot a man without hesitation then when his gun jammed on his "first kill" instead of running in a panic(again first kill) calmly fixed his gun and shot again. I remember the first thing I said when I saw the video. Wow, that man has done this before.

I've seen conservatives and libertarians doing the same thing. It's awful!

I was also saddened by the many people justifying murder. Our society has become so callous.

Thank you. I hope most people think this but are too afraid to confront the people that have lost their minds. I’m in healthcare and I am shocked and saddened by the ignorance and honestly the stupidity of people. You think it’s just the health insurance companies? It’s the whole system. The doctors, the hospitals, the government, and big pharma to blame. You think this one man deserved this? What did this solve? He was replaced the moment he died. I know it’s easier to just believe this man was evil and was responsible for thousands of deaths but it’s not that easy hunny. His death was an evil act. If you are okay with that…that’s on you. Time for real change because killing people walking down the street isn’t going to do anything. And yes I have experienced suffering…don’t think you are that special, we all have suffered..doesn’t make a murder okay.

Celebrate? No. I have no pleasure in the death of the wicked, but that the wicked turn from his way and live. (Ez 33:11a) Understand? Absolutely. Being the head of a company that practices wanton greed at the expense of the people it's supposed to serve is going to have consequences eventually.

I am a progressive, and I am against celebrating anyone’s murder or attempted murder.

Allie- lots of people on the Right are celebrating as well. I'm so sick of this talking point. It's just not honest.

I would never celebrate a murder but…. I have had United healthcare for 8 years. They have been denying me treatment for 9 previously diagnosed mental illnesses for 8 years. They keep saying they do not have a psychiatrist in my area and I would have to drive across the state of Texas to see one. I tried to pay cash to see a psychiatrist or have my regular doctor write my mental health meds. They told my doctor he cannot write the meds. They also said me paying cash to see a psychiatrist would be insurance fraud. I am not as mad at the man who they left in horrible pain as I am at the company and that ceo for what they have been doing to so many of us!

People are not truly celebrating this guy’s death. In reality, it’s beyond this person being killed. People (on both sides) are fed up with the health care system in this country which is responsible for many deaths. It’s sad that someone’s life was taken of course but it’s bigger than that. I’m not exactly sure how it’s so hard for some people to understand this to be honest.

The guy who did it proved nothing more than that he is a demented freak. Some other CEO will take his place and not be much different. All he did was create trauma to a now broken family. I pray for the family of the CEO. Prayers to heal and make a difference.

Allie, I have a theological question. Because I was listening to the pod the other day and you said that the death penalty should happen for people who are murderers. So many Americans have been denied their care and die- which is why people are celebrating. I’m not sure why as I cannot even get them to admit that phizer and moderna CEOs should be held responsible for what they do. But what happened when these elites are 100% trying to and succeeding at killing a lot of people. Even if it’s not as brutal and gory. I’m not celebrating because I have no idea if that man was killed because he was trying to be good in a sea of evil, or if he was a bad guy. I am Christian but was surprised to hear your stance on death penalty- because you surely would celebrate that evil man who killed the young woman killed by the immigrant. (Name is slipping my mind, but my thoughts and prayers are with her family). But yeah, would you prefer these people be taken to court? Because I truly believe the people who made the vax are complicit in gen0c1de (YouTube censors) and bad people. Of course I wouldn’t murder them, but would I celebrate someone who knowingly killed thousands of people? Idk.

Yes Allie, increasingly so. While it’s true that very egregious decisions are made by many insurance companies, the best way to combat that is exposure by truth-minded journalists and media. Not murder.

You can’t feel sorry for him , if he was a person that saved lives and had peoples best interest things might be different People are waking up to the injustice in the health system

I had NO idea there were so many people willing to openly celebrate the murder of a father because he’s the CEO of a health insurance company. Progressives never cease to shock me with how unapologetically evil they can be.
