Let me share some hard numbers from the scans I did with the PortalCam from XGRIDS: - I did 4 passes at different heights
- The whole process took 10'25" (I tried 2 times)
- Each scan generated around 5,1 GB
- After 21' of scanning, I still had 65% battery left
- The processing generated a scene with 1,31 million splats
- The .ply size was 86.9 Mb
- After cleaning the number of splat was 1,03 million splats
- After compression (as .sog) using Supersplat, the final file size was 11,57 Mb
