Totally, its a healing journey..to self-love and recognising myself as high value, building skills in the choice of partner and then a great relationship as a bonus.

Healing takes time. It is pretty normal to avoid triggers in the first months or even years. People feel it when it is time for the next step. One day you will make a fresh start. 🌸

I had to heal from a toxic relationship. I had to find myself and love myself again. I didn’t want to date any man for 4 yrs. Now I feel ready to go on dinner dates. Healing was realizing I am a strong woman and learned setting boundaries and putting myself first is of utmost importance.

Nope. I still avoid men while i'm healing unless someone can make me long for his presence. i don't want to be an issue for him that he will end up complain about. And if you tell me to change FOR HIM, if i don't like him enough it wont give me enough motivation and desire to do so.

Healing is to accept the pain and let go of what hurts you. Healing is also to see things differently with new "eyes". Healing is to get the pieces in the puzzle. At time you can fell something inside you change. 🙏

Avoiding men is a rational response to overwhelming misogyny.

Avoiding men and decentering them is actually one of the main ways to heal as a woman. I wouldn’t expect a man to know that though lol
