Long story short back in the 80s an electrical contractor i knew he’s now retired only used a light bulb and 2 wires active and neutral to test outlets. He’s still alive. Those were the days 🍻

A former USAF Crypto tech-Fluke indeed makes good stuff! In the old analog world it was hard to beat the old Simpson 260, or the PSM 6! Good God I’m not really old, just an antique lol!

I got one thanks. Just have to be careful, our fluke rep has told us that there are tons of really good knockoffs on Amazon they won't even warranty a lot of products on there anymore like multimeters

Just bought it from Amazon for $14.98. Still worth it! Thanks for the recommendation

I can't believe anything Fluke has a price tag that small! (Not handy for me in the UK -- I wonder if they do a UK version?)

This is 110v ac US version… For 240 v ac countries use Fluke ST240+ RCD Socket Tester with Beeper

Silver…do you think the eco flow is worth 1000 more than the Anker Solix?

It’s ok however if you’re a tech and test many different outlets it won’t fit in many. Like outdoor covers, clock outlets just to name a few instances

This, their voltage sensor pen and their small form factor Class 3 volt meter are essential for doing DIY electrical work.

Silver Cymbal
Hi everyone to all my fellow electric DIY'rs this is the outlet tester I have used in many of my videos. I bought it at Lowes for $29 and its awesome. Amazon has it right now for $9.67! amzn.to/3tuesry I am not sponsored by Fluke but I love this tool. Get it while you can. Great tool to check your outlet wiring, polarity & test GFCI too. BONUS feature it has a beeper, that can be turned off and on. Leave it ON then go down to your circuit panel and when you hear the bepper go off you know you switched off the right breaker. Amazing like thing. Fluke makes great stuff
