Wow. That's it: wow had a friend in the 80s, Sharp as a tack, far too handsome for anyone's good, piercing grey eyes, cutting wit, incisive mind that cut to the center of any... yeah, I noticed long ago that all my attempts to describe him came down to how sharp he was, how like the point of a spear but then, after... afterwards, when he had medicine to help him through the depressive abysses that we never saw between his manic highs, he was then blunt, no longer a danger to himself or others, but obviously to those who knew him, he was fully aware of what he'd lost, those magnificent highs that made him shine like a diamond thank you, Ms. Devoe

Don't forget that while they were recording Shine on you Crazy Diamond š, a fat mysterious stranger with short hair had wandered into the studio and was listening to the work in progress. After awhile, they realized the mysterious stranger was Syd Barrett himself. The last Syd encounter for Pink Floyd. A true miraculous case of Rock and Roll synchronicity. Lots of Floyd interviews about that strange encounter...

Literally me coming back to āUnknown Pleasuresā or āCloserā by Joy Division. God I love them, but itās like playing with fire of the mind and soul. If I stay there too long Iāll get burnedā¦

Bummed to not see you deliver it, but I look forward to the read. Perhaps I'll share it with my bandmates tonight on set break. We'll be playing it in the second set.

At first glance I thought it was the crazy world of Arthur Brown rehearsing for their next show š„š„

You CHOSE to have a thoroughly comprehensive look at the sheer mmensity of such an album? To take on THAT daunting of a task would require madness or a capacity for obsession. You've got to be crazy. You gotta have a REAL need.
