I grew up Catholic, but in 1994 when my dad went missing after a serious accident, I prayed desperately to a statue in church (baby Jesus and Mary)— and nothing happened. In my hopelessness, I remembered the Jesus my grandmother used to sing about. I prayed to Him instead, and within hours we received news: my dad was alive and safe. From that moment, I knew which God was real. The statue was silent, but the real Jesus-Christ heard me, answered me, and has never failed me since. He is alive, He speaks, and He is coming back for His church. Let His Kingdom come.
