hey all! sorry no videos recently, having a bit of an art block, but i promise i do have something in the works that im hoping to have finished by early next year!
aside from that, i want to make a little PSA:

if you are someone who uses tiktok, instagram, etc. and you have fallen into the mindset of human emotions being "corny," i want you off of my channel. this is not a joke. if you are the type of person to consistently comment shit like "ts so corny," "sybau 🥀" and "you ain't tuff," in response to basic human empathy, i want you away from me and my art. i don't want your support or your views. i want you to log off and go to therapy, because the internet has poisoned you.

i am fully aware of how silly this sounds, but it's something i feel strongly about, and it's a trend that has gotten wildly out of hand recently. kids and teens treating BASIC HUMAN EMOTIONS as cringe, and outright bullying people for it. acting as if being "cringe" is worth harrassment campaigns and treating people like literal dirt.
i understand the kids falling victim to this mindset have been failed by their parents and by the online platforms they've been allowed to use, but if they don't get a wake up call in the form of being told this behaviour is unacceptable in adult life, they'll continue to get worse. the "trends" i see bleeding out from tiktok are genuinely distressing on a psychological, human level.

if you laugh at people for showing their emotions, for expressing themselves, for being sincere, that is bullying. if you broadcast these people online without their consent, that is harrassment. and if you've reached a point that this is normal to you, you need to seek therapy.

if you think any of this is acceptable, if your basic human empathy has been rotted away by tiktok trends and catchy slang, if you refuse to listen when people tell you what you're doing is wrong, i want you off of my channel. you don't deserve to engage with the art i create from a place of sincerity and passion that you clearly lack respect for.

and to those who agree this behaviour is depressing and unacceptable, you are always welcome here. i love you. you're doing good, despite everything 💖🫂
