✅ Remember to read a Bible translation that YOU can understand. Some people can understand old english, some people can't. If someone insists that only one version is the most perfect version that looks down at you because you read another translation, that person has fallen into the Trap of legalism.
Never let someone (even a pastor) force you into reading a translation that you cannot UNDERSTAND, don't let thet individual make you feel ashamed.
You need to be able to understand the beautiful, succulent, breathtaking and life-changing word.
I've known some KJV ONLY movement people, that because I have decided to read a different version, they are no longer my friends. They view me as inferior and boy does that sting. This is why I can say with 100% certainty it is legalism.
Preferring the KJV over other translations is perfectly fine. But that person should not insist that it is the only authorized version and all other versions are perverted. I don't think YHVH would look down on that kindly.
