How can you even compare?! In 2003 the US did it because of oil and revenge sentiment in the US after 9/11 (against Israel's and the Sunni states's interests, btw that didn't want Iran taking over Iraq as a result). Now, it is just for destroying the ACTUAL neuclear capabilities of the Ayatollah regime. If the people will free themselves from the regime like in Syria and Lebanon - that's great, but not the goal.
