Gameplay? Steve in wilds is absolutely cracked out of his mind. Lore? Steves aren't actually that high up the food chain. If I recall correctly they're nest raiders that steal rath eggs.

Both are high mobility and aggression. Should be an interesting matchup. I think G Rath has the advantage because many of its attacks do splash damage. Gonna come down to which can land successful hits.

G rathalos has more physical attacks than its normal counterpart, making it more or less similar to Seregios in terms of attack methods, although it will most likely do more ranged attacks unlike Steve. Finally, it should be noted that they are supposed to clash at the Wyveria ruins, so G rath can also possibly do reaction attacks with the Wylk Crystals it creates. But in any case, it will be a nice, aggressive and exciting fight 😎😈

Seregios teleports behind you, not even Azure Rath could keep up, plus Steve resists fire so that's half of Rath's attacks caput

G Rath being a gardian makes him more resilient, stronger, can't be tired etc It's a clear advantage

I do think that Guardian Rathalos wins this fight If it isn't to the death. If it is to the death Steve will be in some hot water but I think he'll make it, however needing to deal with what is basically a monster with endless stamina until it's near death is going to make the Guardian Rathalos one of Steve's biggest fights of his life. And while he may emerge out victorious, I do think he's going to come out as at least tempered if he can recover from the beating he'll take. And that's not factoring in other monsters 3rd partying the pair like Xu wu jumping guardian Rathalos.

Seregios for sure, but I can see an argument for LORE accurate G. Rathalos winning just based purely on his advantages as a Guardian. Normal Rath is totally cooked, though. Seregios is fast, aggressive, and is a powerhouse in close range with his kicks.

Everyone saying seregios is clearly going off of gameplay difficulty and not lore. There's a reason rathalos is king of the skies and Seregios isn't
