@FamineMonger

I just use my hands for everything these days man it’s saves so much time on dishes. Weaker men fear hotsoup but if you cup your hands just right you can eat it fine with minimal burns.

@Ringoroadagain6

I prefer eating rice with a spoon 😌

@t3cchan

I like getting a nice big spoonful of food. Harder to get really satisfying bites with a fork. Especially for stuff like fried rice.

How so ? You can literally eat ANYTHING with a spoon. Very easy to scoop rice with a spoon, and very easy to eat soup/stew with a spoon. You can cut meat with a spoon, often accompanied with a fork, but if youre skilled enough you can just use it without the fork. You can even eat noodles with a fork lol Its probably the only utensil that you can basically do everything

this feels like the take of someone who leaves little bits of food in the bowl when they're "done" with whatever they just ate. like, idk, maybe I'm neurotic for this, but I hate doing that if I can help it. example: if I'm eating fried rice out of a bowl, yeah, maybe I can get most of it with a fork. when there's enough in the bowl for the food to stick to itself, that's all well and good. but if you're using chopsticks or a fork, inevitably, you have to either leave leftover rice behind because the grains are all separated and stuck in different places on the walls of the bowl, spend too much time trying to chase that down with the ends of your chopsticks or fork tines, or... you get a damn spoon and scrape the bowl out within seconds, leaving nothing behind. if you're using a spoon from the start, this worry doesn't even manifest in the first place. also, I'm not using a fork on soup or cereal. I am not using chopsticks on soup or cereal. what if you're eating ice cream? how are you going to serve it? how are you going to scrape out the bottom of your bowl if it's softened by the end? are you just gonna waste whatever you can't stab?? the truth of the matter is: we have different utensils for different purposes and there is nothing wrong with that. forks are good for stabbing bites, and for holding larger items in place while cutting. spoons are for scooping and scraping. this is fine.
