The Sewlo Artist

Hey everyone! You can come see me in person this Friday at the Philbrook Museum of Art in Tulsa. I’m giving a presentation on the history of French fashion throughout the lifetime of Renoir and you can come learn more about fashion history and of course admire all the gorgeous paintings at Philbrook. Hopefully I’ll see you there!

Can you advise a complete beginner on how to start making historical clothes, and corsets? I quilt, but even picking out a pattern has me befuddled? Are there certain books, online classes, or other resources I should consider? Everything I see you wear makes me deeply delighted, and i am ready to start the struggle, lol.

I saw your channel I'm glad that there are people like you who like these clothes. I think if you dress nicely like this every day and go live When you dress yourself or your life in these clothes, it's very good. I like to watch the life of people in the past who dress like this.

Oh, wow! This sounds really interesting. I'm not in Tulsa, so I can't attend. Will it be filmed?

I love your work so much!!! Do you ever sell your dresses? Not like I’d be able to afford one any time soon but it would absolutely be a bucket list dream to buy a huge ball gown dress one day!!!
