I'd like to see how non-Steam launchers behave, I don't have time be to investigate that myself.

I think that generally linux mint users are not as focused on customization as other distros, so if you are making a video about customizing and tweaking and stuff, use a distro with KDE, because its so popular. If it was just a "how to install video", the topic of linux mint would be more helpful, specially for beginners. I am saying this as a beginner to linux that installed GarudaOS (basically Bazzite levels of gaming optimization, but Arch-based) a month ago, and i am in the phase of figuring stuff out, and ricing. So i have quite a few suggestions of topics for your video that you can touch on: -An overview of the main applications of linux for multiple functions, so new people now what what apps they have available and what to install. (related-unrelated note: what tha hell do arch users (you, according to the last video) use to automatically dim a monitor at night and bright it at noon, i used to use Solar Screen Brightness on windows, but after 3 hours of trying to find alternatives i gave up!) -Basic commands in terminal like sudo, install commands, navigation commands, and how shell works in a nutshell (pun intended) -The difference on file system and where stuff like AppData from windows is located, or where to find screenshots .configs, drives and Etc... (i struggled quite a lot in the begging with that because in Windows its sooo much more intuitive) -How to troubleshoot on linux, things like running an .exe trough the terminal to see what crashed it, or how to ask on the forums, or where to find guides for basic troubleshooting (you can link some articles in the video). -Basic facts about Linux distros, like what is GNU , the various file managers, package managers, boot managers and stuff like that. -The different community on linux / thing to you can do here that you couldn't before, like ricing , making your own scripts, understanding how the OS works, and some of the only-linux apps. That's what comes to mind rn, if you want more ideas, ask in the comments! Also, your videos are great, never feel dis-motivated if the algorithm doesnt push them to people, because eventually you WILL blow up, and then all that high-quality content will be watched by millions!

Bazzite of course. And Please show how customisable KDE is. A lot of people think KDE looks bad and is just a cheap Windows rip off so please show them the customisations, the widgets, the colors, and the animations they can have, not to mention how easy it is to click the "get new" button and install whatever you like.

I think Bazzite makes more sense because KDE is more widely used, so the customisations would be applicable across more distros.

I say make a video on Bazzite since there don't seem to be many videos about it compared to Linux Mint, then do a video about Mint in the future. Personally, I would like to see... 1.) How apps are installed, updated, and removed. How do we remove the app and how do we remove the app info/data if we want it totally gone from our machines. 2.) How to clean up disk space 3.) How to customize the File Manager 4.) How to back up important files to an external drive. 5.) Antivirus on Linux explained

Bazzite is an immutable distro so you have to troubleshoot problems alot more annoyingly than simply opening the terminal, I learned this the hard way Go with nobara or cachyos instead

Hallo evory-nyan!
I'm currently in the process of writing and planning a new video showcasing the ENTIRE process of installing and customizing a Linux distro. My issue is that I'm torn between which distro I should use!
So that's why I'm asking y'all: "what do you want to see?"
Linux Mint is more generalized, in terms of its out of the box settings and has a different desktop environment to Bazzite: Cinnamon.
Bazzite, however, is more laser focused on having a good gaming experience. Pre-installed steam and gaming tools to help make that experience run smoother.
I would also like to ask you to comment what particular thing you'd like to see me install or configure! Could be a particular app, how to update the system, playing games via steam or non-steam launchers, could be anything!
I want to try to cover as much info as I can in this video. So any comments would be super helpful!
