For those who saw the upload yesterday where the artwork artist on his twitter account said that I used his artwork without his permission. I asked for his permission back in February 2019 which is almost 5 years and therefor forgetting is reasonable and fair to me. I wanted to post a screenshot of that tweet here but since he didn't got back to yet I better quote him and link the twitter source to that post so you can read it all for yourself.
Quote: "(Resolved.) Regarding last night, I received an email last night and I have confirmation that the video was removed. (Is it just private? I will get confirmation from the parties involved here).
We will also be asking for the removal of the illustrations in Twitter.
There was a slight misunderstanding in posting the quote last night. We found the email correspondence in February 2019. As of 2019, I had given permission to Aviencloud to use the my original art only, with a clear statement of the source. I apologize for being so emotional one way or the other. The unauthorized use was a complete misunderstanding in this person's case.
This time, he used it in a video without knowing that it was fan art, but he is working while respecting the will of the rights holder for what he posts on a daily basis. If he had known it was fanart, he would not have used it.
so Aviencloud is not to blame and it would be sufficient for them to respond to the deletion.
However, I have some concerns about the distinction between original and fan art for existing submissions as well, so I will discuss this in the form of not allowing it in the future."
I've learned from this experience now and I'm going to be even more strict with myself on artwork's as I'm already are. I respect art and music of all kind and always do my best to keep everything clear and honest. The wave of negative comments and tweets was immense especially on what happened on twitter... but I can understand him in a way or another. For those who have been around for a while might already know that still, I wanted to get this off my chest and write that.
Sorry for those who experienced this situation, thinking I actually did such a disrespectful choice on purpose. This just got out of hand the wrong way. I hope this makes everything more clear to you.
