The Supreme Court said it would quickly review a high-stakes legal challenge to President Trump's tariffs, setting up a resolution as early as this fall.

The high court put the case on track for oral arguments in early November.

That puts the case on an unusually quick track to resolution, especially given its significant political and economic reverberations.

US Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent has warned in recent days that the US would have to refund around "half" the tariff revenue it has collected if the Supreme Court rules the president overstepped his authority, which has been the determination of a federal appeals court and the Court of International Trade.

I have no faith in the supreme court

@celebrityrog

We already know they're going to side with him. The purpose of this party and court is to literally force Americans into submission and giving up. They want us to be financially ruined, and have no way to recover. The idea is to bankrupt the richest nation and then flee to our enemies.

@supermutant

This SC is in the pocket of rich donors. Even they think it's stupid but who knows with these people. Case seems obvious no POTUS has that authority but they can twist logic to suit their agenda.

@curtissmith3196

They will say his tariffs are legal

@miguelcontreras3953

This is a charade, the Roberts will issue another unsigned decision with no explanation siding with Trump. The vaunted checks and balances system is no longer in effect. The current SC is a rubber stamp for Trump’s desires.

The separation between executive and judiciary powers, if ever was a real thing, has long ceased to exist in the USA

@PELE-TISHA

I HAVE NO DOUBT TRUMP'S SUPREME COURT WILL ONCE AGAIN CURRUPTLY BAIL OUT THEIR CRONY. THE USA HAS BECOME A PATHETIC JOKE! ONE MAN CAN HAVE HIS OWN COURT. BIZZARE AND SHAMEFUL!

@jockumt7063

The entire world knows that the SCOTUS is corrupt, so we shouldn't be surprised if they take a leak on the constitution ...again

@michaelsalgado4438

That is scary news that they took up that case they should’ve just left it alone and agreed with the lower court. It’s gonna be bad.!!!

@amindforall442

This is so clear in the constitution, I dont know how it could be more clear that Congress is the one that needs to approve that smh watch them show loyalty to a man and not the Actual constitution which is LITERALLY Their purpose

Supreme Court is stacked towards Trumps policies. RIP

@tobiwan001

The surpreme court is just a kangaroo court. Worthless piece of fakery to keep up the facade of rule of law. The US does not have rule of law. It doesn’t have independent courts. It‘s not a democracy and its constitution is now a valuable as toilet paper.

@eligewood9772

Well if the go by what the Constitution saids, then the Supreme Court has to rule Trumps Tariffs as unconstitutional ! If they don’t, they are more corrupt, than we thought!

@hoonhwang4778

The fact that SCOTUS already granted the highest priority over other issues says everything about its neutrality or lack of it.😤

@Darkmattermonkey77

Ahh. So for clarification, it’s ok for the rest of the world to tariff America, not the reverse.

@alexd5188

Tariffs(except steel/aluminum) are removed on October 14th while the case is on appeal to Supreme Court.

@youcandoitrv4198

Tariffs seemed to be the only way this country would ever reduce its debt? Milei in Argentina just brought economy of Argentina to 7.7% year over year growth in 2nd quarter of 2025 by way of deficit reduction and its impact on inflation.
