It's always wild to me that the reason YouTube is so harsh on content creators is because advertisers don't like their ads being shown next to certain things, because they're worried people will associate the product with whatever negative thing and it'll hurt their sales... But then you have NSFW ads next to other ads and that isn't a problem, as if people won't associate the things that interrupt their watching with each other more than they associate the ads with what they're watching.

ive noticed how no one has been mentioning how the little upside down "^" symbol that allows you to miniplayer a video was removed SPECIFICALLY when an ad is playing (on mobile) so when you accidentally click a video you're sent to 5-10 seconds of hell before you can continue the search it also prevents the closing and reopening of a video so you cant try and bypass the ads
