[WARNING] - On August 13th, 2025; YouTube will implement an highly controversial feature, which is that they would use AI from the date on to determine either the user is 18 or not based on the data of the user who search up on adult or kid-friendly topics. (i.e. Minecraft, BFDI, OSC, Nintendo, Alan Becker, etc.) If the user is caught to be watching those content, then they will be marked as under 18 and while unlike under 13, where the account gets closed until parent action, some child action protocols would be triggered and enabled. If the user is misidentified as a teen, then they will and must share some very important data. (Government IDs, Social Security, Credit Cards, photo of themselves are examples of those things) This means that YouTube is now spyware and data collection, and while YouTube did other screw ups and mishaps, this controversial shenanigan is now deed an overstep against all users and YouTube might be too far for data collection. Users are rightfully triggered of what YouTube has done and Deep Humor is an example of that (https://youtu.be/M0OQQsSm-_o?si=Err6AgXojjBQBtqS, https://youtu.be/9L9Bzu9aca8?si=ejJHsr0WXHvvFxpA) and if not reversed, YouTube may be deemed untrustworthy for video sharing platforms and since it is from Google since acquisition, it is likely a mass de-googling would start as a boycott. You don’t want many people who type the specific topic to be considered teens/children and to prevent this sort of dangerous activity imposed by YT, it’s best to migrate to better alternatives and those include example of VidLii, Peertube, Odysee, Bit-Chute (used an dash to prevent making a bad word), Rumble, Yattee, StoryFire, Dtube, LBRY, and more alternatives. I can also respect you uploading content on Vimeo, or Dailymotion. You could self-host an independent video platform as for your videos or as a legit competitor/alternative to YouTube, though might be a bad idea since how hard and expensive it is to host a independent video platform. I can recommend watching those videos on the best YouTube alternatives and consider those to switch away to them from YouTube (https://youtu.be/dBpToUmap7k?si=Ezxv2ALRE3O3W4l2, https://youtu.be/WZmFN9LOPPw?si=wIkx7hravIc-zHWz, https://youtu.be/1MuS5nGqShY?si=x835Z4cyV11WCgDO, https://youtu.be/GWQcqUhNu1M?si=ZQ5RCYOomyuMbroU, https://youtu.be/CYnFjFuwisM?si=dJzrKs6aHsYZTJ2P). Use and copy this message to spread to everyone for everyone to become aware of the developing situation. (Forget to include that.)
