What do you guys think of this new James Bond announcement? It looks like they're want to turn the Bond franchise into the MCU. Do you think it will work?

I’m more concerned by the fact that they still haven’t found the next Bond so long after No Time to Die

James Bond and the Rings of Power. What could go wrong? Bond villain sends him to Middle Earth. I love it.

No. Such a shame that this has happened. Amazon will ruin Bond.

In part, the MCU worked because it was already a shared universe. What are we going to get here, James Bond and Ethan Hunt working together?

I’m devastated

This is the first time I've heard of it. What a stupid idea. The MCU and it's consequences have been a disaster for the movie industry

Oh good, there goes another legendary franchise down the toilet.

I’m afraid it’ll be spin offs, gender swaps and TV shows. But if they keep the roots and stick to James Bond movies, I have faith

@Kasey_Barkle

It won’t ruin the legacy or take away from any previous films, but atleast we don’t have to look forward to it anymore

@LeonardoKlotz

As long they have theatrical releases I'm down with it

So far, I don’t like the direction it will be going to…

Just assume that ANY pre-existing IP will be ruined by any current reboots or modifications. If you hear good things about it by the time it shows up on Tubi, then you can watch it for free.
