What is your favorite Act in Baldur's Gate 3?

Each act is really special in its own way. Act 1 really makes a great intro to the game with the goblin/druid conflict, introducing many of the characters you’ll probably see later in the other acts. Act 2 opens up really well with the scene where you first meet the Harpers or the Drider. Gives its foreboding and scary theme, which act 1 helped build. Act 3 is where everything and everyone starts to come together. There’s ALOT going on, which personally I love. It was fun seeing many of the characters from the previous act and their stories unfold

Act 2 for that Nightsong OST and the creepiness. The Shadowfell Hills had me hooked.

Act 1 was a solid introductory act with excellent pacing and loads of content. Some of the locations including the goblin camp remind me of imsims. Lots of creative ways to approach the quests. Overall best level design and polish. Act 2 was shorter but had a lot of memorable moments for your companions, several interesting new characters, last light inn was my favorite hub location, the creepy silent hill/dark souls atmosphere was immaculate and not to forget the epic finale on the good route. Act 3 was very overwhelming at the beginning but gets better as you proceed. Some cool locations and conclusions to some important quests. Loved Shadowheart's and Astarion's quests. Pacing does suffer towards the end when you finish everything and just left with the last few quests to progress the story. Still a good act but maybe it should have been split into two.

I feel like I’m the only one who enjoys the city! It’s too big and sprawling, has too many things to do in it, I feel lost constantly, I feel like I can’t keep up with all the many plot threads… but I love it

Larian is that one DM who always tries to implement a city arc in their campaigns, but every time it turns out bad. IMO it's better than The Arx from DOS, but still far from great. In defence, there is no way the game named Baldur's Gate 3 wouldn't have a Baldur's Gate in it, so they had no choice but to make it.

Playing as a really dark, onyx-skinned drow in act 3 makes you look like a medium-sized black hole. Hence I prefer the dimly-lit areas of act 2 for their aesthetics

Act 3 gets a little messy and unorganized in my opinion. There’s a lot going on and not a ton of structure but still a lot of fun. Just very different than the more straightforward route that act 1 had.

Act 3 because I can solve murders, free scratches dog friends, and kill Cazador
