One of the BEST players in APEX (ImperialHAL) who used to be a keyboard and mouse is letting you guys know how bad (strong) Aim assist is across FPS games right now. Yet so many of you still think the advantage is on Keyboard and Mouse. 'But you have your whole arm'...yall sound dumb because ya'll dont even know what ur saying.
Being able to swipe really fast is great, but having to MANUALLY stay on target is where the problem comes in. For many of you, ya'll dont even understand HOW MUCH aim assist is keeping you on target. So when 2 players have a close gun fight (controller vs MnK), the controller player has like a 95% advantage every time. Ya'll stay on target BECAUSE aim assist keeps you there. We have to track EVERY PIECE OF MOVEMENT MANUALLY.
All I suggest as someone who plays both inputs, remove or reduce rotational aim assist. Thats it. How many times have you been aiming and someone runs by you and you get *pulled* in that direction??? Now imagine close range gun fights where youre almost stuck to enemies because rotational aim assist is keeping you there.
But hey, dont let me tell ya'll. If they absolute best players in the world are telling you theres a problem, maybe theres a problem.
