Derek Smith

Hey guys - I need to speak about this.

I appreciate all the attention the Thomas video has been getting, but I've been noticing some really mean-spirited comments directed toward the people who worked on the movie, and frankly, that is not okay.

I understand that the movie is not what anyone hoped for, but people need to understand that actual human beings work on these movies and are simply doing a job they're passionate about. It's one thing to criticize the movie itself (which is totally fine to do, fyi) but to unfairly lambast the people who worked on it because they made some movies you dislike is completely unacceptable.

If comments towards the crew like these continue, I will not hesitate to take the video down. Think before you comment.

Thank you.

I mean, now thinking more about it, it IS the first draft of the movie, so of course is not perfect and not what we wanted, but i start to imagine a timeline when this movie actully happened.

To me I'm just okay with what the draft of the plot of it is and pretty much getting intrigued into it even tho the people stop working on it and haven't understood what Thomas was really all about it. But this is what we have a left added information for the mysterious film that poundered us what could have been and really thanking you for giving us the information we have strived for and as much what the plot doesn't fit what the original did there are some elements and moments that are referenced that would intrigued us as it shows they kinda know somewhere from the original source material. Adding to this I'm also wanting to Adapting some into short scenes as I'm always coming back to this listening to the draft of the plot to get it kinda exact.

Disliking something is fine, but you have to remember that no matter what there’s always someone on the other end of the screen who you’re communicating with. Personal attacks aren’t cool, just because they made something you don’t like doesn’t mean attacking them is fair game (unless they’re bad people obviously but these are just people who were trying to make a movie, have some decency, we were lucky enough to even get the script in the first place)

People seriously should know better than to threaten someone who worked hard on their career, I don't approve this kind of behavior.

@Matts_Creations

It is true. I don't like it but we are grateful enough to have the script at all. I remembered that

Man that's horrible. I feel so bad for the people who worked on the movie. Their work wasn't even bad either. The writers probably just didn't know that much about the source material and decided to do something different. You can dislike it but the hate is too much.

@ColtonHoward-c3m

Very well said Derek. The movie had some rough spots, but I think it could have been a good movie. I get people don't enjoy some things but you shouldn't put down other people for it.

As in actual threats?? You gotta be bonkers to do that. I mean, I will admit, the movie script was way WAY out there, and it did sound more like an indie train steampunk fantasy movie then it did like a potential TTTE Movie, but that's simply no reason to attack the people who made the script. Plus this movie was drafted in 2011-ish. Stuff was different back then. Heck, we're lucky we even learned what this movie was about at all, even if it was not what we wanted.

I think we were robbed, in my opinion. I think it would have made a great film

Honestly, I’m gonna be honest it’s not cool to be disrespectful to the crew and my opinion I respect everybody who worked on the movie and also everybody who helped you on the video. This is not what everybody thought it was but honestly, I kind of thought the plot out myself before we already got this, so yeah don’t disrespect peoplethank you

I’m sorry that this is happening but this is a thing any content creator will have to deal with. You can’t control those that say the wrong things. A better idea would be to remove said “mean” comments not the whole video.

I mean it wasn't a very good film idea but this was clearly a rough draft idea that would in all likelihood have been altered as production went on so I don't give it too much crap.

@RedE2Engine

Yeah, not cool, whoever is rude to the crew of the production that could have been an alt Thomas universe.

@Default_channel06

Honestly I’m sorry for that, unlike to them not humble but rather annoyance with the Thomas Movie. But at first, I was jokingly thinking that (whoever) made Thomas’s faces is reminded me as Bumblebee from the Transformers films. Because of his eyes pupils were bright and blue light, surely it was TrainsFormers-alike. But it was booming to see, in all seriousness, I’ve think I will accept the draft for this Thomas, depicted in the Real World, of focus with historical events like the Second World War, but with confrontation with the Diesels, I rather doubt that, Because it was not accurate before Dieselisation occurs to established sometimes 1960s and 70s. I’ve would imagine if Thomas was around the World War II, despite he was E2-built from Brighton, he would be involved in the BIG SCREEN, I’ve rather what will or when it comes a green-light.
