Narrated `Aisha: Whenever Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) was given the choice of one of two matters he would choose the easier of the two as long as it was not sinful to do so, but if it was sinful, he would not approach it. Allah's Apostle never took revenge over anybody for his own sake but (he did) only when Allah's legal bindings were outraged, in which case he would take revenge for Allah's sake." (See Hadith No. 760. Vol. 4) (Evidence Sahih Al-Bukhari Hadith number 6126)

Umm Hani bint Abu Talib who said: ‘The Messenger of Allah walked past me so I said: ‘Indeed I have become old and weak – or something similar to this – then he ordered me with an action which I should do while I am sitting. He (ﷺ) said: ‘Say Subhan’Allah one hundred times, indeed it is equivalent to freeing one hundred slaves from the offspring of Isma’eel. And Say Alhamdulillah one hundred times, it is the equivalent to one hundred horses saddled with reins ready to carry a person in the path of Allah. And Say Allahu akbar one hundred times, since it is the equivalent to one hundred camels slaughtered for the sake of Allah. And Say La ilaaha il-lallah one hundred times, Ibn Khalf (the narrator from Aasim) said: I think he said: it fills what is between the heavens and the earth and on that day no one will have an action raised except the one who came with the like of it.’ [Al-Musnad & Shu’ab al-Eemaan] Al-Mundhari said: Ahmad collected it with a Hasan Isnad [Targheeb wa Tarheeb (2/409)] and the ‘allaama al-Albaani declared its Isnad Hasan. [Silsilah Saheehah (3/303)] It was narrated that Abu Umamah (رضي الله عنه) said: The Prophet (ﷺ) saw me moving my lips and he said to me: “What are you saying, O Abu Umamah?” I said: I am remembering Allah, O Messenger of Allah. He said: “Shall I not tell you of something better or greater than your dhikr of night and day or of day and night? You should say: سُبْحَانَ اللهِ عَدَدَ مَا خَلَقَ، سُبْحَانَ اللهِ مِلْءَ مَا خَلَقَ، سُبْحَانَ اللهِ عَدَدَ مَا فِي الْأَرْضِ، سُبْحَانَ اللهِ مِلْءَ مَا فِي الْأَرْضِ وَالسَّمَاءِ، سُبْحَانَ اللهِ عَدَدَ مَا أَحْصَى كِتَابُهُ، سُبْحَانَ لِلهِ مِلْءَ مَا أَحْصَى كِتَابُهُ، سُبْحَانَ اللهِ عَدَدَ كُلِّ شَيْءٍ، سُبْحَانَ اللهِ مِلْءَ كُلِّ شَيْءٍ الْحَمْدُ لِلهِ عَدَدَ مَا خَلَقَ، وَالْحَمْدُ لِلهِ مِلْءَ مَا خَلَقَ، وَالْحَمْدُ لِلهِ عَدَدَ مَا فِي الْأَرْضِ وَالسَّمَاءِ، وَالْحَمْدُ لِلهِ مِلْءَ مَا فِي الْأَرْضِ وَالسَّمَاءِ، وَالْحَمْدُ لِلهِ عَدَدَ مَا أَحْصَى كِتَابُهُ، وَالْحَمْدُ لِلهِ مِلْءَ مَا أَحْصَى كِتَابُهُ، وَالْحَمْدُ لِلهِ عَدَدَ كُلِّ شَيْءٍ، وَالْحَمْدُ لِلهِ مِلْءَ كُلِّ شَيْءٍ Subhan’Allahi ‘adada ma khalaqa, Subhan’Allahi mil’a ma khalaqa, Subhan’Allahi ‘adada ma fi’l-ardi, Subhan’Allahi mil’a ma fi’l-ardi wa’s-sama’, Subhan’Allahi ‘adada ma ahsa kitaabuhu, Subhan’Allahi mil’a ma ahsa kitabuhu, Subhan’Allahi adada kulli shay’in, Subhan’Allahi mil’a kulli shay’in Alhamdulillahi ‘adada ma khalaqa, wal-hamdulillahi mil’a ma khalaqa, wal-hamdulillahi ‘adada ma fi’l-ardi wa’s-sama’, wal-hamdulillahi mil’a ma fi’l-ardi wa’s-sama’, wal-hamdulillahi ‘adada ma ahsa kitaabuhu, wal-hamdulillahi mil’a ma ahsa kitabuhu, wal-hamdulillahi adada kulli shay’in, wal-hamdulillahi mil’a kulli shay’in (Glory be to Allah the number of what He has created, Glory be to Allah filling what He has created, Glory be to Allah the number of what is in earth, Glory be to Allah filling what is in earth and heaven, Glory be to Allah amount of what is enumerated in His Book [Lowhill Mahfooth the Presevered Tablet], Glory be to Allah to what fills his book, Glory be to Allah to the amount of everything, Glory be to Allah to that which fills everything); (Praise be to Allah to the amount of what He created, and praise be to Allah to the quantity that fills what He created, and praise be to Allah to the amount of what is in the earth and the heavens, and praise be to Allah to the quantity of what fills the earth and the heavens, and praise be to Allah to the amount of what is enumerated in His Book, and praise be to Allah to what fills in His Book, and praise be to Allah to the amount of everything, and praise be to Allah to that which fills everything.’) [Collected by Ahmad, Ibn Abi Duniya (This wording), Nisa’ee, Ibn Khuzaimah, Ibn Hibban and al-Hakim and he said ‘Authentic upon the conditions of Bukhari & Muslim’ & authenticated by al-Albani in ‘Saheeh Targheeb wa Tarheeb no. 1575]

The fundamental rule in Islamic jurisprudence: for ibadah (acts of worship), the default is prohibition unless there is a specific dalil (Islamic evidence) permitting it; while for muamalah (worldly affairs and transactions), the default is permissibility until there is a dalil prohibiting it. This distinction emphasizes caution in worship and flexibility in worldly matters.

Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) said," Whoever says: "La ilaha illal-lah wahdahu la sharika lahu, lahu-l-mulk wa lahul- hamd wa huwa 'ala kulli shai'in qadir," one hundred times will get the same reward as given for manumitting ten slaves; and one hundred good deeds will be written in his accounts, and one hundred sins will be deducted from his accounts, and it (his saying) will be a shield for him from Satan on that day till night, and nobody will be able to do a better deed except the one who does more than he." Sahih al bukhari :6403 Abu Hurairah (May Allah be pleased with him) reported: The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said, “There are two statements that are light for the tongue to remember, heavy in the Scales and are dear to the Merciful: ‘Subhan-Allahi wa bihamdihi, Subhan-Allahil-Adheem [Glory be to Allah and His is the praise, (and) Allah, the Greatest is free from imperfection]’.” Sahih al bukhari: 6406 Narrated Abu Huraira: Allah's Messenger ﷺ said, "Whoever says, 'Subhan Allah wa bihamdihi,' one hundred times a day, will be forgiven all his sins even if they were as much as the foam of the sea.(minor sins) Sahih al bukhari: 6405 Jabir (رضي الله عنه) reported: The Prophet (ﷺ) said, “For him who says: `سُبْحَانَ اللهِ الْعَظِيمِ وَبِحَمْدِهِ’- Subhan’Allahil adhim wa bihamdih (Allah is free from imperfection the Magnificent and all praise is due to Him),’ a palm-tree will be planted in Jannah.” [A hasan (good) hadith reported by at-Tirmidhi (3464, 3465) Narrated from Juwayriyah (رضى الله عنها), that the Prophet (ﷺ) went out from her presence early in the morning at the time of the dawn prayer, while she was in her ‘masjid’ (i.e. her place of prayer). Later, he returned to her when the sun had risen, while she was still sitting (in her place of prayer). He (ﷺ) said to her: ‘Are you still in the same condition (position) which you were in when I departed from you?’ She said: Yes. Then, the Prophet (ﷺ) said: ‘I have recited after I left you four words (i.e. expressions), three times; if these words were weighted against all that you have recited since I left you today, [my four words, repeated only three times] would have outweighed all that you have said. These four words are: سُبْحَانَ اللهِ وَبِحَمْدِهِ، عَدَدَ خَلْقِهِ، وَرِضَا نَفْسِهِ، وَزِنَةَ عَرْشِهِ، وَمِدَادَ كَلِمَاتِهِ Subhan’Allāhi wa bi-hamdihi: ‘A-dada khalqihi, wa ridā nafsihi, wa zinata ‘ar-shihi, wa midāda kalimātihi. Far Removed is Allāh From All Imperfections and Praise is due to Him – in a manner equal to (1) the number of His Creation, (2) (the magnitude of) the Pleasure of His Self, (3) the Weight of His Throne [al-‘Arsh], and (4) the Ink (used in recording) His Words.’ [Sahih Muslim, 2726 a] This dhikr should be said three times in the early morning as part of the Morning Adhkar. It can also be said anytime as part of your daily Dhikr. Abu Umamah (رضي الله عنه) narrated that the Prophet (ﷺ) said: “Whoever is in terror of enduring the night (has difficulty offering the late night prayer) or is stingy about spending his wealth or who is fearful in fighting the enemy should frequently repeat: ‘سُبْحَانَ اللهِ وَبِحَمْدِهِ – Subhan’Allah wa bihamdihi (Allah is free from imperfection and all praise is due to Him)’. Verily, these words are more beloved to Allah than spending one mountain of gold in charity.” [Sahih at-Targheeb no. 1541 and authenticated by al-Albani] Abu Huraira (رضي الله عنه) reported Allah’s Messenger (ﷺ) as saying: “He who recites in the morning and in the evening (these words):” ‘سُبْحَانَ اللهِ وَبِحَمْدِهِ – Subhan’Allah wa bihamdihi (Allah is free from imperfection and all praise is due to Him)’ 100 times, he would not bring on the Day of Resurrection anything excellent than this except one who utters these words or utters more than these words.” [Sahih Muslim 2692] Ibn `Umar (رضي الله عنه) narrated that one day: The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said to his Companions: “Say سُبْحَانَ اللهِ وَبِحَمْدِهِ – Subhan’Allah wa bihamdihi (Allah is free from imperfection and all praise is due to Him) a hundred times. Whoever says [it] one time, it is written for him ten, and whoever says it ten (times), it is written for him a hundred, and whoever says it a hundred (times), it is written for him a thousand, and whoever increases, Allah will increase for him, and whoever seeks Allah’s forgiveness, [Allah] will forgive him.” [Jami` at-Tirmidhi, 3470, Hasan] Abdullah ibn Amr reported: The Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, said, “The best supplication is that which is made on the day of Arafat. The best of it is what was said by myself and the Prophets before me, ‘There is no God but Allah alone, without any partners, unto Him belongs the dominion and all praise, and He has power over all things.’” Source: Sunan al-Tirmidhī 3585 Grade: Hasan (fair) according to Al-Albani
