I personally like how it was originally just because the combo was unusual, different, this looks like every other color display that almost everyone used.

Was that one of those builds where the display was under an amber piece of glass and you removed it? I have seen some JVC decks like that. Not an easy job at all. But yeah, the blue or even white looks better than amber for sure.
