I can honestly say that I have thoroughly enjoyed watching your videos! You have been indispensable in teaching us about sumo, which has led to us having a greater understanding about the Tosa Inu, the breed we are working to save. I would love to sit and chat with you sometime and be able to discuss the sumo dog. For starters, while lower ranking wrestlers in professional sumo are not allowed to wear the Kesho Mawashi and women are traditionally not allowed to touch the dohyo, there is a dog that does both and more. It is expected to demonstrate the proper sumo temperament and respect the same Shinto principles and traditions. They have their own version of dohyo iri, mawashi, and their own list of techniques and rules. Watching your channel has taught me more about my breed in the last few months than what I had learned in the 20+ years prior. I would love to chat sometime. Regardless as to whether or not that is possible, there are not words for how much I appreciate your channel and what you’re doing here for this culture and the country. It matters. Keep up the good work, and God bless you!

Sumostew
Hello Everyone! I was a guest on a podcast ^_^ AsianAmericanHistory101 graciously invited me to their father-daughter duo podcast to talk about YouTube, sumo, and the creative process.
So if you are having a long poop, driving to work, or procrastinating - check it out! I just realized I ramble a lot and this is why I don't have a podcast. hahaha
