Hard question to answer there's a difference between the music getting your attention and realising that you really love this music.ive always liked instrumental music from being a child bond themes John Barry's music then I discovered vangelis and then 90s trance. But then in late 90s I heard a track and it seriously got my attention I didn't get who the artist was so listened to radio every day to hear it again and then I heard who it was straight away into record shop and got it. And it was chicane offshore. Got all he's tracks from there on and albums. And even now when I here chicane especially offshore the nostalgia is so strong. There was a big gap after that the odd track coming along again hearing on radio then going to get it When the rush comes, motorcycle for instance heard it on a episode of CSI Miami .then some years later headstrong with tiff lacy then dead mouse.but my real love for house, melodic, progressive was during the lockdown I would sit in the garden for hours with ear ins going through loads of djs made loads of playlists to many to mention but for now the past 12 months there is stuff that just hits the spot with in first 10 sec and it is progressive house, and melodic techno and also the pleasant sound of melodic house. If I had to pick a few djs, artists it would be no 1 miss Monique then marsh. Aurosonic, bash Berlin, Richard Durand and more
